Welcome to Week Eleven of The Chrysalis Method:
Confident in your Skin
You’ve reached the last week of your journey with Chrysalis. But don't think of this as an ending. Instead, think of it as a new beginning!
No matter where you are in your journey after having a breast surgery regardless of the type, keep loving yourself, keep applying all that you have learned for self-confidence and practice self-compassion. Give yourself permission for imperfection and love who you are right now and always.
We at Chrysalis encourage you to continue this journey by transitioning to Chrysalis body. If you feel you no longer benefit from the weekly inspiration, weekly exercise videos, support and accountability, then we will certainly be sad to see you go. Know that you always have a place with Chryslis, and we are here for you to support YOU. Please share your experience and your support of others on the forum. Click here to go there.
“ The best gift you are ever going to give someone — the permission to feel safe in their own skin."

Weekly Tip:
Since this is the final week of your inclusive 12-week program, this week’s tip is one of self-reflection.

Take a piece of paper and a pen. Write down on this piece of paper a conversation you see yourself having with yourself as a 90-year-old female.

What would that conversation look like?
How do you feel that 90-year-old you would reflect on the you today?
Would it be one of self-confidence?
Would it be one of positivity?
Would it be one of great self-worth?
What would she tell you?
Think of these things and then use this reflection to shape your decisions in the days, weeks, and years to come. Never forget the above quote:
“Love yourself. Be clear on how you want to be treated. Know your worth. Always.”

A letter from the Founder of Chrysalis:
I am so proud of you!

Congratulations on completing your journey to a healthy recovery. Women who actively engage in groups of support and accountability are far more likely to succeed and maintain results compared to those who do not have accountability. You have come this far, and you should be empowered by the results you have achieved. Whether you choose to participate in Chrysalis because you wanted guidance and support after your breast surgery or because you are recovering from illness and wanted guidance and support to get back to your pre-surgical well-being, the reason doesn’t matter as long as you feel good and embrace your inner beauty.

There are too many outside voices and pressures telling us how we should act, what we should look like, feel like, and be like. Take ownership in who you are and don’t listen to those voices. Be the best you and own it.

Remember that you don’t have total control in life but the things you do have control of, take full advantage. The only person who can control the way you think, is you. When you’re struggling with a decision, feeling, or choice, remember this quote: “The difference between stumbling blocks and stepping stones is how you use them.” -Unknown

We at Chrysalis are grateful you have chosen to go on this journey with us. We hope we have inspired you and provided you with support throughout your post-operative period. Our hope is that you have developed relationships and self confidence that you deserve after undergoing your surgery while maintaining your health and fitness through nutritional guidance and the exercises provided.

Remember, Be the best you because YOU are the one who decides if that glass is half empty or half full.

With love,
Lauren
